Overview
AnkiHeat is built with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains what data we handle and how.
The App
AnkiHeat does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
- All your study data stays on your device. AnkiHeat reads your local AnkiDroid database and renders the widget locally.
- There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no cloud sync.
- No telemetry, analytics, or crash reporting is included in the app.
- We do not use any third-party SDKs that collect data.
The Website
This website (ankiheat.app) uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This may include:
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Approximate geographic location (country level)
- Device type and browser information
This data is anonymous and cannot be linked to you personally. You can opt out by using a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics, or by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser settings.
Google Play
If you install AnkiHeat from Google Play, Google’s standard purchase and app distribution data handling applies. AnkiHeat itself does not communicate with any server.
Children’s Privacy
AnkiHeat does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where practical, notify users through the app.
